Do you remember how you felt when you received a phone call or an interview request for the job you now have? Well, our members want to experience that same feeling.
Even if the answer is not what they expect to hear, our members have stated that any response is better than no response at all.
If you agree that it is only fair for a job seeker to be treated with respect by responding to his/her request for an interview, then we hope you agree with our new policy which will take effect 5/14/10.
When our members apply to your job posting, please respond within 5 business days. Our members will notify us if they have not received a response within this time frame by reporting your job posting as a Failure to Respond. We will then kindly remind you that an applicant is waiting for a response. If no response is received within an additional 5 business days, your job postings will become inactive.
We are sorry to take such extreme measures to generate employer responses; however, our primary focus is on our members (who can bring tremendous value to your company), and many of them will greatly appreciate your cooperation.
*If you cannot adhere to this timeframe, and/or prefer for our members to apply directly on your website, simply place this information in your job posting so that applicants will respect your job application process and avoid reporting your job posting as a Failure to Respond. Our members understand that if they apply directly on your website, we cannot monitor this process; however, if multiple complaints are issued, your account can be closed.
