Job Description: 

POSITION:  Apprentice Installer

Description

 
Position Objectives: 
Ensure the quality installation of flooring, supervision of assigned installation personnel and training of personnel, resulting in the most cost effective and highest quality installation for the given conditions.
 
Responsibilities:
 
      1.  Liaison between general contractor and personnel regarding installation.
      2.  Installation of specified materials according to manufacturer's specifications,                    
           blueprints, and job specifications.
      3.  Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance.
      4.  Evaluate job conditions and keep supervisors informed of said conditions.
      5.  Meet with manufacturer's representatives when material problems arise.
      6.  Consult with department supervisors regarding equipment needs for upcoming    
      jobs.
      7.  Quality control.
      8.  Training assigned personnel in proper installation techniques.
      9.  Maintain confidentiality on any and all issues pertaining to the company.
    10.  Comply with tardiness and absenteeism policies.
    11.  Remove and replace furniture in a safe and professional manner as needed.
    12.  Use the appropriate Vertical Integration Technology (VIT) system.
 

 

Qualifications

 

Requirements:  High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Hourly paid position.
