This is a part time temproary on-call position with no benefits associated with it. Work location is Albuquerque New Mexico Under direct supervision, installs, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies components, parts, equipment, and systems. Will maintain electronic and electro-mechanical systems and build custom data cables. Will also install multi-pin connectors, fiber-optic connectors, lazers and Optics. Performs simple routine tasks under close supervision or from detailed procedures. Work is checked in progress or on completion. Includes reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling equipment. Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: AS degree in Engineering Technology or related field, or military technical training program, or completion of technical institute program. Experience: At least 1 year of related experience or in lieu of educational requirements at least 5 years of related experience. Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
