We have a Engineer Principal Sysyems Opening. The chosen candidate will be a Technical and project management leader for all phases of a turbomachinery system life cycle including new business development, proposal writing, preliminary design, development, qualification and production support.

Position Responsibilities:

Hardware design and development experience with motor and/or turbine driven pumps and compressors required particularly centrifugal and scroll type compresors. Refrigerant experience required.

Work with external and internal customers to define technical and programmatic requirements.

Manage work across multiple sites and/or major subcontractors to accomplish design, development, fabrication and qualification testing of hardware and ensure that flight hardware is delivered per customer requirements.

Provide technical direction and guidance to design and analysis specialists, other project engineering groups, laboratory, contracts and the integrated supply chain.

Conduct engineering studies, development/qualification testing, analysis of test results and lead/participate in IPDS team(s).

Generate cost proposals, program schedules and plans, inputs to budget planning and manpower forecasting tools.

Ensure hardware and program requirements meet performance, schedule and cost needs.

Maintain close customer relations and produce proposals that are successful in obtaining new business.

Basic Qualifications:

- A Minimum of a BS Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering Required.
- A Minimum of 15 years experience with a background in high speed turbomachinery design, development and project engineering for motor and/or turbine driven centrifugal pumps and centrifugal and scroll compressors.

Additional Qualifications:

- Experienced with refrigerant compressors.
