Pricing Analyst 4 Job Details

The successful candidate will join the Pricing Sector organization of Northrop Grumman Information Systems located in Huntsville, Alabama. In this position the candidate will perform autonomous price/cost analysis of subcontractor proposals to determine price/cost reasonableness and ensure subcontractor and NGIS compliance with applicable Government regulations (FAR, CAS, TINA). The analyses performed support NGIS contracts in support of proposal activities and modifications made to existing contracts.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience in the following areas is required:

Bachelors Degree plus minimum 10 years price/cost analysis and pricing experience.

Direct experience with Subcontractor proposal evaluation required.

Through understanding of the requirements of FAR, DFARS and other applicable government regulations. Strong analytical skills, solid negotiation background and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must be able to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

Must be a team player, independent proactive and posess excellent problem solving and organizational skills.

Proficiency with a wide range of software and database applications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work and interface with various levels of personnel across multiple divisions.

Position required working extended hours and some extended travel (up to 25%) may be required in support of fact-finding/negotiations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong analytical and mathematical skills (learning curve knowledge a bonus)
