Northrop Grumman Technical Services sector is seeking a motivated IBDSoS SME/Field Engineer to join our motivated team.
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Candidate will be heavily involved the Integrated Base Defense System of Systems (IBDSoS) fielding and integration efforts in Kuwait and Afghanistan. 2. Will analyze architectural views, engineering drawings, and determine system functions. 3. Writes reports and creates analytical products to document system’s interoperability, traceability, and goals achieved. 4. Works with government/military and other team members to install, test, and maintain integrated systems. 5. Will travel to remote Forward Operating Bases (FOB) in a combat environment.
The candidate for this postion should be proactive and able to function with minimal to no direction. M ust demonstrate knowledge, ability, and strength in a variety of technical disciplines. Must be able to work on multiple individual and group/team projects. Must possess excellent written and verbal skills.
Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customers organization. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: 1. Candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. (Note: Additional years of Experience, total of 9 years, may be considered in place of the degree, at NGC's Descretion). |
