Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Contract Administrator 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in San Jose, CA. Where Technology and Teamwork come together... The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Airborne ISR Business Unit. Roles and Responsibilities: This individual will provide contract administration support for numerous programs and new business pursuits across Operating Units in the AISR BU. Responsibilities will encompass the full range of the Government contract acquisition process, including pre-proposal and proposal support activities, coordination of management approvals for proposals and contracts, contract negotiations, contract changes, developing terms and conditions, providing risk assessment of contract terms and resolving issues to ensure compatibility with company and government procurement regulations. This position administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts; conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications; examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness; prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information and provides mentoring and guidance to junior personnel. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors in Finance, Business Administration or related field. 1 0 years of Contract Administration experience. FAR, DFARS and related government and commercial contracting laws and regulations. Proven ability to analyze, develop and execute solutions to complex problems and the proven ability to communicate effectively at the highest levels, internally and externally. Must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI Clearance.
