Northrop Grumman Information Systems Ground Systems BU is searching for a Systems Test Engineer. The candidate will perform systems integration, verification and validation for a satellite communication system and accompanying COTS IT and custom service tools. The candidate will create test plans, procedures, reports and establish test environments.
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - A complete understanding of system testing and an ability to widely apply technical principles, theories, and concepts of systems engineering - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Familiarity with system administration for Windows and Linux platforms and have basic hardware knowledge of PC and network systems. - Familiarity with virtual environments, and experience integrating COTS IT tools - Excellent analytic skills to troubleshoot hardware and software issues - Ability to work under only general direction - Ability to independently determine and develop test approaches and solve problems Preferred Qualifications: -Experience with Windows, Linux, satellite communications, and IT data center tools: Remedy, Cisco, Splunk, Active Directory.
