Primary responsibility is to manage the functions related to process and product quality, Site Certification (AS9100), process and product audit and the establishment and maintenance of the Quality Management System. Coordinates and leads quality resources in support of process and product quality, certification, compliance, and process and product audits.

- Leads and directs the Quality and Regulatory Systems for Bendix King and drives continuous improvement from a Quality performance and regulatory compliance perspective.
- Accountable for all Bendix King AS9100, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Support the definition and deployment of quality performance goals consistent with those defined by Aerospace Quality and Bendix King business objectives.
- Oversight of Bendix/King RCCA processes to drive both effectiveness and responsiveness. Assure proper allocation of actions across the business to drive accountability and improvements.
- Coordination with Production and Product Engineering resources to ensure appropriate level of quality and regulatory involvement in Bendix King’s new product introduction process.
- Work collaboratively with site resources, product engineering, and the Product Management to drive product and manufacturing improvements that result in escape reductions and improved product reliability.
- Lead the functional, professional, and organizational development for the Quality and Certification organization.
- Support the development and deployment of process control improvements aligned with Quality and regulatory initiatives.
- Leadership participation in the maturity of the Honeywell Operating System.

Basic Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality, Engineering, Integrated Supply Chain Operations, regulatory compliance, or related professional experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of leadership/managerial experience with demonstrated strength in external communications (regulatory, customer and supplier)

Additional Qualifications:


• Masters Degree preferred.


• Avionics/Electronics background strongly preferred.


• Have a working knowledge of Quality Systems (AS9100/ISO), Regulatory requirements, and Compliance aspects associated with the manufacturing of Aerospace products
• Black Belt Certification preferred
• Demonstrated leadership capability and influence skills to drive step change improvements in quality performance.
• Experience with Honeywell Aerospace products and site operations preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage the activities of multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proven problem solving skills, including ability to interpret data, define actions, and implement solutions. Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for implementing solutions.
• Adept in soliciting facts and opinions from all team members, and creating a constructive and open environment for sharing data. Capable of making fact-based decisions and communicating to team members why certain facts or recommendations prevailed over others.


•Demonstrated success functioning and leading in an entrepreneurial fast paced quality environment


•Interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively communicate with peers, senior leadership, and within and between organizations.


• Demonstrated change agent capable of making important strategic changes for the good of the organization and able to champion the changes
• Program Management or Integrated Supply Chain experience, with experience in multiple areas a plus
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and controls.
• Able to deploy and manage to metrics.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across different levels of the organization and different operating environments.
• Results oriented, self motivated, process driven through skilled use of Honeywell Six Sigma Tools, negotiation, and problem resolution.
• Excellent computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
