Sr Chemical Process Engineer Job Details

We have an immediate opening for a Sr Chemical Process Engineer within our Catalyst Business at our Shreveport, Louisiana site!!!

UOP, a Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies Company, is a global leader of process technology, products, engineered systems and technical services to the petroleum refining, petrochemical, gas processing and energy industries and is a leader in the R & D of petroleum and petrochemical processing.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare process engineering packages on plant improvement projects.
  Develop and monitor process improvements.


• Support and promote the successful application of Honeywell Operating System (HOS) principles.


• Provide operations with technical recommendations on the process.


• Troubleshoot process and equipment related problems.


• Interpret the health of the production system using PI and other data collection processes.


• Participate in root cause analysis of high impact process and quality related issues.


• Other Duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in Chemical Engineering


• 5 years experience in a chemical industrial/manufacturing environment or Honeywell contingent worker.


• 3 years Process Engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications:

.

• 10 years experience in a chemical industrial/manufacturing environment


• Strong Process Engineering skills


• Strong interpersonal communication skills


• Able to effect change through partnership and influence.


• Able to resolve conflict in a professional manner.


• Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point and other Microsoft office software.


• Proficient in Pi and Aspen Process Simulation software
