Communications Engineer 4 with installation experience of communications systems for manned/unmanned helicopters. Duties include communications and avionics systems design, development, integration and testing. Write and release engineering SOW and specifications for various communications equipment. Support airworthiness and flight certification processes. Perform trade studies as required to select optimum equipment for the communications and avionics architecture. Lead, conduct system validation and verification testing including creation of test procedures, write test reports and brief results to program management and customer. Conduct flight testing of the communications system at YPG in cooperation with Test IPT.
