Job Description: 

Functions as a member of the Contractor Manning (CM) Logistics Team for OEF. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. Builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position. Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform complex tasks. Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings. . Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives. Controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
Typical Minimum Education / Experience: 3 Years with Bachelors; 1 Year with Masters/Years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement / Associates’ Degree is the minimum education that will be accepted for this position
• Experience in analysis of detailed logistics information and report development.
• Ability to provide technical input to contractual deliverables/requirements, development specifications, and technical drawings.
• Ability to recommend updates and changes to maintenance procedures based upon feedback received from end-users via the Field Support Desk.
• Experience with the warranty administration process to receive, investigate, and resolve claims against the warranty purchased and defined in FAR 52.246-19.
• Ability to participate in integrated product teams, technical interchange meetings, and working groups.
• Ability to maintain proficiency in logistics functional area.
• US Citizenship is required with an Active Secret clearance.



Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior military/DoD civilian/DHS experience.
• Prior field experience maintaining deployed military systems.
• Prior experience in help desk and customer service operations.
• Familiarity with military communications/electronics maintenance and supply operations and requirements.
