The Northrop Grumman Advanced Geospatial Solutions Operating Unit is looking for Journeyman Geospatial Analysts with hyperspectral experience to deploy to OCONUS locations in support of Expeditionary Operations for an Intelligence Agency. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Previous experience working as a Geospatial Analyst in the Intelligence Community. Have demonstrated experience with hyper-spectral imagery Demonstrated MS Word, PowerPoint, database entry and graphic design principles skills. Knowledge and experience with digital cartography, image processing, computer technology, geographical information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, and photogrammetry. Knowledge of and experience with ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcView, ArcIMS, ArcTools, the Integrated Exploitation Capability (IEC) system, SocetSet, TerraExplorer/Builder, RemoteView, ERDAS IMAGINE, MRSID, VB/VBA (or some other object oriented programming/scripting language), Oracle and other appropriate software to analyze geospatial data. Must have the capability to read and understand intelligence issues, military affairs, and use GIS to develop Geospatial Intelligence reports and products to solve problems. Expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image processing, or regional expertise is also desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of commercial imagery, products, processes and sensors. Demonstrated customer support skills. Ability to deploy for up to six months to OCONUS locations to support real-world mission with short notice on or about 1 Dec 2011. TS/ SCI security clearance is required. Preferred Qualifications: Previous deployment experience with the military or in support of real-world missions. IIS2012 |
