The Advanced Geospatial Solutions Operating Unit of Northrop Grumman Information Systems, a leading provider of geospatial solutions supporting our nation’s defense and intelligence initiatives, is seeking Journeyman Full Motion Video Analysts (Imagery) with prior experience exploiting video data from UAV platforms for positions in the Washington D.C area. These positions will be counted on to provide military and intelligence community customers with accurate, high quality information and solutions derived from imagery/geospatial analysis. Job Description Responsibilities include: 1) First phase equipment identification, facility analysis, regional analysis, database input and other FMV-based research, 2) performing geo-locational mensuration functions, 3) extracting coordinates and positional relationships from digital database systems and, 4) maintaining and using geospatial databases. The Analyst will also prepare, maintain, and present intelligence displays, reports, and briefings with the creation and use of visual aids (graphs, charts, etc.) and draft, edit, and proofread documents for publishing. Compiles, segregates, evaluates researches, interprets, analyzes, and disseminates intelligence information to support operations. May provide real-time 24/7/365 support in a shift work environment as an integral part of a team. Qualifications: The following are basic qualifications for this position: An active U.S. Government TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. Bachelors Degree and 5 years of related experience is required. An additional 4 years of experience experience and/or military service in an Imagery/FMV may be substituted in lieu of degree.Graduation form a U.S. Government/Military Imagery Analysis or Basic Intelligence training program is an asset. Must have M3, ArcGIS, RemoteView, IEC, NES, and have graduated from wither an IA School or a military All-Source school. Experience with imagery/geospatial software packages including ArcGIS and Remote View. Ability to use softcopy workstation. Ability to use Intelligence Community databases to retrieve information. Solid understanding of the Intelligence Community and how information provided by various sources is integrated with imagery and geospatial analysis into actionable intelligence products Highly skilled in data mining using M3, open-source reporting and other intelligence sources Knowledge of geographical and cultural aspects of foreign countries, military capabilities, weapon systems Well versed in the use of internet relay chat. MUST be able to work rapidly in a high tempo, high stress environment that often requires multi-tasking. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal or no oversight
