Mgr Systems Engineering-GMD Logistics Systems Engineering Job Details

The GMD Logistics Systems Engineering Manager reports to the GMD Performance Based Logistics Integrated Product Team lead, manages10 direct reports, and
functionally manages10 contractors and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
• Leads the implementation of the NG GMD DSC Logistics Systems Engineering activities supporting GMD development/ modification, operations, maintenance and support activities.
• Leads team in performing ILS tasks including sustaining engineering, planning, support analysis, design interface analysis and logistics management information efforts.
• Interfaces with, and provides systems engineering based sustainment recommendations and solutions.

The selected candidate must be able to travel up to 25% of the
time.

Basic Qualifications:

*In depth knowledge of weapon system systems engineering, logistics engineering, sustaining engineering, and product support.
*Senior management experience leading ILS activities including life cycle cost experience
*Systems engineering experience
*Logistics Management Information System experience including managing, planning and implementation
*Performance Based Logistics knowledge
*GMD knowledge
*Engineering degree with 15 years leading and managing logistics engineering activities
*Must be able to travel
*DOD Secret security clearance


Preferred Qualifications:

*Formal Performance Based Logistics training
*Strategic Systems experience
*Six Sigma Green Belt
*Large program capture and proposal experience
