Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Network Communications Engineer 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be

located in Raleigh, NC.

Where Technology and Teamwork come together... The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's IT Support team performing and evaluating security

architectures, network connectivity requests and participating in the integration of security technologies/enhancements within IT resources.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• VMware updates and hardware updates and repair coordination on the servers in the ESX environment
• Developing system connectivity requirements for Postal Service connections to external systems, externally facing applications (e.g., FTP servers), and

connections via the Internet to Postal Service development, production, and internal networks.
• Analyzing business cases, architectural diagrams, and supporting documents for connectivity requests.
• Evaluating firewall change requests and approving or rejecting them.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors or equivalent experience
• Five years network engineer exprience
• Three years Cisco experience
• Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust designation

Preferred Qualifications:
• CCNA
• CCNE
• Hands on experience configuring Cisco Switches, Routers, and Firewalls.

• Current Postal Clearance
