Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a PeopleSoft Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Bethesda, MD. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's team at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and be responsible for providing end-to-end IT Infrastructure support to DIA's Human Capital system. Roles and Responsibilities: . Build, configure, debug and support PeopleSoft applications in a multi-instance multi-network environment . Principle upgrade resource for major Application (HRMS 8.8 to 9.1) and PeopleTools (8.48 to 8.50) upgrade efforts . Responsible for environment creation, database refreshes, change management, migration of objects/code, performance tuning and production support . Deploy, configure, and debug issues relating to BEA Weblogic Web servers, BEA Tuxedo Application, and Process Scheduler Servers . Provide expert troubleshooting for isolating technical problems in the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture including Oracle databases, tuxedo application servers on Unix, process schedulers on both Unix and NT and Weblogic configuration . Analyze issues with SQRs, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Process Schedulers, Application Servers, Application Messaging and Web Servers . Develop, tune, and debug SQL statements within Query, Application Engine, and native SQL . Work with Infrastructure team members (Network, Windows and Unix Administrators) to build and deliver services . Assist with capacity planning, disaster recovery and load balancing activities . Work on all phases of a project -- development, testing, production support, etc. . Rapidly resolve issues in order to adhere to Service Level Agreements . Provide quality formal and informal documentation consistent with organization standards. . Implementing and maintaining application security Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: . Bachelors Degree w/ 6 yrs exp or prior work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. . Excellent oral and written communication skills . 6 years of IT experience; 3 years experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator . PeopleSoft 8.8 or later experience . PeopleTools 8.46 or later experience .
