Job Description: 

Provides direct support to a Senior Manager, in developing and tracking business plan and monitoring performance results.


Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


  • Responsibility and accountability for human resource, budget and administrative functions for the district.

  • Represent the district in providing a "front door" for requests that do not have a clear owner, which requires a good overall knowledge of district functions.

  • Primary delegate representing the Senior Managers in their absence including; resolution of budget management, business planning, and tactical planning issues.

  • Responsible for prioritizing critical work tasks for the district.

  • Provides expertise in technical areas that the district is accountable for.

  • Member of task forces and process management teams to insure overall district success.

  • Generally supervises management and/or non-management direct reports.

  • Decisions must be made in an environment of constant change while balancing multiple priorities that include competitive pressures, fluctuation revenue streams, financial limitations, engineering and service requirements while incorporating capital and expense budget pressures.

  • Identifies growth opportunities and participates in creating and executes plans to maximize growth from these opportunities


Supervisory position


Required Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 5 years experience managing in finance, pricing or sales planning and execution.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong corporate budget, forecasting and development of regional strategies for management

  • Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

  • Strong verbal, presentation and communication skills

  • Strong multi-tasker

  • Previous experience managing direct reports

  • Good teamwork and collaboration skills

  • Experience working with sales teams


Desired Qualifications:


  • 7 or more years of experience managing in finance, pricing or sales planning and execution.

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business or a related field
