The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering group has an opening for a Product Line Manager in Phoenix, AZ at the Deer Valley location. This is a high visibility position responsible for the development and deployment of Product Line Strategies, in alignment with Marketing and Product Management (M&PM), for the Integrated Supply Chain. Additional responsibilities include managing Value Engineering budget and save, developing and maintaining a project deck and pipeline to address product cost needs, and acting as the ISC focal point on the Product Action Committee (PAC) and other such Aerospace initiatives.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop overall product cost roadmaps and playbooks for products in assigned product line
- Influence overall commodity sourcing strategies to ensure that the supply base supports business objectives related to product cost and manufacturability
- Influence engineering leadership to identify and promote design methodologies that align with the specific capabilities supply chain
- Interface with M&PM organization to develop STRAP and AOP plans to ensure that strategic objectives are met
- Responsible for ensuring that all IPDS Phase 1 and 2 deliverables are met, including greensheet inputs and checklists
- Support Aerospace initiatives at multiple levels to achieve a competitive advantage for Honeywell in the marketplace
Basic Qualifications:
- BS Engineering or other relevant discipline (business or supply chain degree)
- 8 years of Engineering, Program Management or Integrated Supply Chain experience with experience in multiple areas.
- Must have 2 years experience working with electrical avionics equipment
- Green Belt certification required
Additional Qualifications:
- Master degree desired (MS in Engineering or MBA).
- Black Belt and/or Lean Expert desired.
- Ability to influence and provide multi-functional leadership across multiple sites, cultures and various businesses.
- Good understanding of functions like engineering, marketing, ISC, business segments and the linkages between them.
- Ability to understand and establish priorities in a complex and demanding environment.
- Able to work in a matrix environment with a focus on building relationships and driving improvements over multiple locations.
- Ability to develop strategic concepts into an executable plan.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Self-starter who takes the initiative, and is well organized, detail oriented and self motivated.
- Positive attitude and professional image with impeccable business ethics.
