Honeywell has a Hardware Engineer I -Repair and Overhaul role available.



Position Responsibilities may include but not limited to the following:


- CANDIDATE MUST BE WILLING TO WORK DAY OR SWING SHIFT LONG TERM
- Facilitate productivity improvement projects across various product lines.
- Ownership of technical aspects of assigned projects, such as: Repair Development, Field low time removal analysis, quality, process turn time, first pass yield, cost productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Initiation and completion of programs that solve technical problems and d rive cost reduction such as repair development, repair scooping, and customer service boards (Customer Service Bulletins).
- Writing, obtaining and interpreting and communicating FAA approval documents.
- Resolve problems by networking within the greater organization ranging from machinist/mechanic and supply chain to project Engineers and management.
- Participation and Leading HOS initiatives for the site.
- Ability to utilize applicable business systems to support the business.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related Engineering field required.
- US Citizenship or Resident Alien (Green Card) is required to support government programs and projects


Additional Desired Experience:

- SAP experience preferred.
- Exceptional technical skills.
- Able to read and interpret maintenance manuals and part prints preferred.
- Fluency in Geometric Tolerancing preferred.
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office Products.
- Strong SAP abilities preferred.
- Understanding of metrology techniques.
- Familiar with gas turbine principles.
- Ability to utilize Six Sigma tools and apply them to large quantities of data.
- Have understanding of Aerospace Materials, properties, and processes.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Highly motivated, self directed, and a can do attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to work in and lead teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
