Job Description: 

THIS IS A PART TIME TEMPORARY ON CALL POSITION WITH NO BENEFITS ASSOCIATED WITH IT.




Candidate will attend to the receiving, handling, storing, issuing and delivery of fixtures, gages, perishable tooling, factory supplies and parts as requested by the using departments. Maintains electronic inventory records in accordance with established procedures using an automated management system, he/she will accurately select and transfer material from material location areas into kit trays/boxes and initiate on-line transactions to update inventory records. Position responsible for performing crib/warehousing functions, including: receipt of and unloading material, issuing supplies, consolidating or packing equipment for storage. He/ she will conduct physical inventories and authorize release of tooling and supplies. This will also involve setting and adjusting gages to standards required by Manufacturing, and issuing weekly department recall reports. Material Coordinator will also be responsible for ordering replacement parts and supplies, and for preparing calibrated equipment for shipment. Also requires forklift certification and use of floor jacks along with operation of standup forklift.


Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:



High school or equivalent plus one year of related experience.

Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time, climb ladders and stairs. Ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds. Computer skills required. Related crib or stockroom experience desired. Posting is for a day shift position 40 hours a week with moderate overtime. Must have a valid driver license. Candidate will be expected to perform duties demanding schedule and regulatory requirements.
