Honeywell has an immediate opening at our Hopewell, VA facility for a Plant Manager. This is a great opportunity to lead a highly trained team of operators, supervisors, area coordinators, and engineers to drive continuous improvements in work processes and production. Honeywell's Resins and Chemicals business offers a robust product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities to a wide variety of customers worldwide. The 450 acre Hopewell Plant is the world's largest caprolactam plant, producing millions of pounds of finished products per day. Products include the nylon feedstock caprolactam, ammonium sulfate fertilizers, ammonia, cyclohexanone, and specialty chemicals. The plant contains virtually every chemical engineering unit operation and every class and size of operating equipment in the various stages of manufacture. The site is located on the James River near the city of Richmond and is convenient to Virginia and North Carolina beaches, the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Shenandoah Valley and the DC Metro area.
