We’re seeking a Brand Manager – Footwear in our Smithfield, RI location.

This position’s primary objective is to increase mind share and market share of their respective brand and to accelerate revenue and profitability of the brand through strategic separation and competitive differentiation.

This is the primary ambassador of the brand focused 100% on maximizing intrinsic brand value as measured by increasing share positions in target markets, brand awareness, positive equity and attribute scores and ability to command long-term margin premiums and pricing versus the market.

This position is responsible for benchmarking the current brand position globally and in each strategic region versus competition and developing, in conjunction with the Global Product Line Leader, the brand vision and comprehensive strategic programs to maximize growth and the brand value proposition to customers. The Brand Manager will establish vision and direction of all single-brand marketing strategies and programs including: brand advertising, public relations, safety associations, brand literature, sales materials, training, website, promotions and trade shows. The Brand Manager will work closely with each regional marketing team to adapt brand marketing strategies and programs to regional requirements and to ensure full support and seamless inclusion in all multi-brand, head-to-toe regional and global initiatives.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s Degree


- 5 years of experience managing brands domestically and globally.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


- Footwear industry experience


- Agency experience; managing brand relationship.


- Be able to travel at least 25% - with 20% international.


- Increase mind share, market share and value proposition for the brand globally


- Owner of brand strategy globally, ensuring brand vision and message is consistent and optimized across regions


- Ambassador for the brand in all major customer and user brand evaluations


- Key role in developing brand vision, road map and metrics to measure progress


- Collaborates with all functional and regional groups on all brand-related issues


- Lead architect on all major brand platforms, programs and launches globally


- Develops and oversees execution of all single-brand campaigns inclusive of all marketing mix components: advertising, white papers, public relations, merchandising, literature, etc.


- Develop web and social media strategy and ensure content and execution is consistent with vision


- Support sales and key customers with relevant brand tools and campaign elements


- Lead graphic design standards to ensure consistent branding across all elements


- Work closely with Product Managers and Regional Managers to develop differentiation strategies consistent with brand vision and customer needs


- Develop and manage brand marketing budget to support vision, AOP and STRAP


- Key participant in the product process to lead creation of materials for global new product launches
