Job Description:  Avon, the company for women, is a leading global beauty company, with over $10 billion in annual revenue. As the world's largest direct seller, Avon markets to women in more than 100 countries through over 5.5 million independent Avon Sales Representatives. Avon's product line includes beauty products, fashion jewelry and apparel, and features such well-recognized brand names as Avon Color, Anew, Skin-So-Soft, Advance Techniques, Avon Naturals and Mark.

  • Assesses quarterly category performance and generates category strategies and tactics

  • Plans category key events and objectives and prepares new product flow

  • Execute comprehensive competitive review and new product assessment

  • Participates in quarterly new product brainstorming

  • Participates on a cross-functional team to manage all aspects of new product development

  • Plans brand building efforts and identify growth opportunities for prospective customer acquisition and/or continuing effort

  • Plans comprehensive category launch events and track performance

  • Works with Creative team to develop brochure layouts that will drive sales

  • Works with Merchandising team to ensure that offers are brand supportive and meet the needs of the category


  • Bachelor's Degree required/MBA preferred

  • Marketing experience in Beauty or Consumer Packaged Goods experience needed

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite), Lotus Notes necessary

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate plans both verbally and in written presentations to all internal support groups (i.e. creative teams, sales organizations, etc.) needed

  • Must have ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines

  • Must be a team player with strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
