Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Engineer Systems Analyst to join our team of qualified,diverse individuals. This position will be located in Raleigh, NC.

Put your years of experience into a future of excellence... The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Postal Services and Solutions group. This is a contract to provide USPS Information Technology with professional, technical and support services to support the application development, Server Administration, Electronic Tranfer Monitoring and various requirements for distributed technical support throughout the USPS enterprise.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the day to day system administration and monitoring for UNIX/Linux (HPUX, AIX, Solaris, RedHat Linux and Suse Linux) environment, EDI Monitoring and Reporting, System testing and validation.

Duties include monitoring and support for Microsoft Windows server and tools, troubleshooting and familiarity with Middleware components (Tuxedo, Weblogic, Runway, CTC, DB, responding to alerts from automation and escalation from Level1 Service Desk and incident, change and problem management activities.

• 2-3 years of experience UNIX/LINUX and basic trouble shooting skills
• Must have experience with load runner, win runner and system intergration level testing

• Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust designation

Preferred Qualifications:
• Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust designation
• Current Postal Clearance

• 3-5 years of systems administration experience in a UNIX / LINUX distributed server environment. (HP-UX, AIX, SOLARIS, Suse LINUX, Red Hat LINUX)
• 3-5 years of systems progamming experience in VB in a Windows server environment

• 3-5 years of systems scripting experience in Perl in a Linux server environment
• 1-2 years of experience in an operational support team

• Knowledge of United States Postal Service SIT and Unit testing best practices
