| Job Description: |
Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of iDIRCM and advanced IRCM development programs, including IRAD projects. Responsibilities include the direction of all phases of program /projects from inception through completion. Establishes winning strategy for new products, value proposition, competitive advantages and business relationships . Generate and brief Step/Gate review presentations. Participates in the establishment of teaming agreements or joint ventures, coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms / conditions of contracts as well as negotiation of subcontract and subcontract changes. Establishes proposal and program milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program specific issues and manages solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of Integrated Product Team (IPT) members assigned to the program / project from technical, operations and administrative areas as appropriate.
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: 10 years relevant experience in Electro Optical/Infra Red product and technologies • International program and business experience • Experience in management of Defense Electronics Equipment Production and Development programs •Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with all levels of management and individual contributors •Process oriented and experienced with BAP and PM process and tools •Ability to obtain U.S. Government Security Clearance •Experience/working knowledge of ITAR •Travel required
Preferred Qualifications: • Business development training or experience • Working knowledge of AAQ-24 system and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) |
