Northrop Information Systems Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (AISR) Operating Unit, located in Sacramento and San Jose, is a premier supplier of airborne reconnaissance systems, strategic signal processing systems, intelligence analyses, and telecommunication system products, technologies and services for national security, defense, public sector, and commercial customers. This job will be located in San Jose, CA. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of exciting, high-visibility programs with significant growth potential. Roles & Responsiblities: We are looking for a Engineer Systems Architect to provide technical expertise for customizing and maintaining Windchill PDMLink using Java, HTML, JSP, Info*Engine, XML, etc., along with the interface between Windchill PDMLink and other applications such as SAP, ClearQuest, DOORS, Relex and more in the near future. Candidate should be able to conceptualize, design, and implement customizations in Windchill. Develop and maintain Windchill workflows and WindChill system and business administration. Candidate must also be able to effectively interact with system suppliers and users to understand requirements and technical issues, and must be ready and willing to do daily Windchill users support as required. Must be a team player, and must be able to clearly document all configurations and customizations developed. Windchill PDMLink 9.1 experience is a must, Windchill PDMLink 10.0 would be a plus but not mandatory, and knowledge of Pro/Engineer Wildfire 4 and 5 along with RSD and Creo familiarity would be preferable. This job will be located in San Jose, CA. Qualifications:
Basic qualifications (Essential skills/minimum years experience necessary to perform the work) : • Must have experience in Windchill PDMLink system administration, installation, configuration and upgrade of Windchill PDMLink 9.1 software. • Experience in developing Unix shell scripts (e.g., Perl) is highly desired.
Preferred (Competencies/Additional desired skills/pluses) : Experience or knowledge of Unix/Linux system administration Experience or knowledge of Oracle, SQLPlus and performance tuning. Ability to train users and/or do user demonstrations of tool (PDMLink, Creo, etc.) capabilities.
