Job Description: 

Provide day-to-day on-site Systems Engineering, Integration Test, and Acquisition support to the Ground System IPT. Work as part of Government and Contractor technical teams performing general systems engineering with emphasis on ground-based communications systems. The primary focus of this position is to provide systems engineering and acquisition support in the broad areas of requirements review/compliance, ground systems technical review and assessment, risk assessment, integration and test review and on-site (CONUS contractorfacilities) monitoring, verification and validation, and written technical summaries as required. The position is primarily focused on ground-based communications systems. This position is located in El Segundo, CA. Travel can be anticipated 25% of the time. Key Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Evaluate contractor technical performance and deliverables and provide verbal and written assessments to the Ground System IPT Lead. 2. Assess all aspects of contractor systems engineering/test and compliance to Aerospace, SMC, and DoD documents. 3. Develop detailed technical assessments in support of contractor technical analysis or testing products. 4. Provide recommendations to project managers with technical meetings and management reviews, by reviewing acquisition documentation, reviewing technical documentation, and supporting program briefings. 5. Responsible for developing acquisition and systems engineering documentation, taking meeting minutes, documenting technical and program recommendations to the project manager and Ground System IPT Lead. 6. Work closely with Aerospace and SETA counterparts to make recommendations to the government on all systems engineering functions (requirements, risk, interfaces, integration, test, etc.) and acquisition support functions.

Required: B.S. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics (Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related Science discipline desired), M.S. preferred 2. 8 years of experience performing Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test activities 3. 6 years of experience with Space and Ground-based DoD systems, communications systems experience preferred 4. Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills 5. Ability to effectively work as a member of larger dynamic teams 6. Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
