To serve as the primary logistics engineer in a fast-paced research and development environment.
Applying acquisition logistics principles and processes to plan and execute acquisition logistics strategies. Preparing acquisition logistics documentation such as material fielding plans, supportability plans, logistics resource funding summaries, life cycle costs estimates, and phase out disposal plans. Performing logistics assessments of technical equipment/systems, validating system supportability impacts, and ensuring supportability is considered as a complementary element Secret Clearance required
Desired: Planning and executing acquisition program logistics for fielded and developmental systems, sparing analyses, management of provisioning efforts, providing direct logistics support as required, and implementing logistics plans. Support activities and tasks in various logistics elements (ILS planning, maintenance planning, supply support, test and support equipment, packaging/ handling/ storage /transportation, personnel and training, facilities, data, computer resources. |
