Job Description: 

Working as a Student Manager, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with supporting the Revenue Accounting organization


Overall purpose: responsible for collecting, recording, classifying, examining, analyzing or reporting accounting transactions.


Additional Responsibilities: prepares journal entries, maintains and reconciles ledger accounts. Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. Balances books periodically and prepares profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements. Maintains receipts and disbursement reports. May prepare federal, state, and local reports or tax returns. May interpret reports and records for managers. Areas of responsibility may include accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, collections, assets control, product cost, labor or inventory analysis or consolidation.


Job Contribution: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional for an understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues.

Required Qualifications:


  • Must be in the process of pursuing a 4-year degree

  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office products including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook

  • Must possess both outstanding written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to clear a criminal background check, driver's license check and drug test

  • The successful candidate will be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation:


    • Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, copier and fax

    • Ability to work flexible hours, which will vary based on event support

    • Ability to work in the evenings and on the weekends

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds during event set-up

    • Ability to travel within New York City, Northern New Jersey and Long Island
