The Associate Marketing Manager, North America Commercial Marketing is charged with focusing on profitability, revenue, and productivity growth for the North America Jewelry & Watches division. The Associate position is a developmental position intended to prepare the incumbent for a Manager position. The Associate will have ownership of a portion of the Senior Manager's overall business and manages the processes to achieve sales, gross margin, size of line, and productivity objectives while maintaining the appropriate aesthetic. The Associate should be an independent and forward thinker with a clear vision of the customer base and should support all team strategies to build a consistent and strong brand identity. S/he should possess an extraordinary talent for creating and executing myriad and complex financial reports and then be able to analyze and recommend changes based on those results. S/he should cultivate successful financial strategies to increase total Jewelry & Watches sales and profitability for long-term growth. Responsibilities include:
Assist to define a goal-oriented and feasible financial vision for the North America Jewelry & Watches division. The primary focus will be to ideate, develop, recommend, and execute on various financial reports. S/he will also execute ad hoc projects, reports, and analyses - to include, but are not limited to sales, key items, size of line, profitability, post-mortems, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reviews, productivity, and aged inventory. Ownership of a portion of the Senior Manager's overall business and manages the processes to achieve sales, gross margin, size of line, and productivity objectives while maintaining the appropriate aesthetic.
Support all team strategies to build a consistent and strong brand identity.
Create and execute a myriad and complex financial reports; analyze and recommend changes based on reporting results.
Cultivate successful financial strategies to increase total Jewelry & Watches sales and profitability for long-term growth. Bachelor's degree Minimum 5 years of experience Jewelry & Watches or Fashion experience preferred Catalog experience preferred Sharp financial acumen Strong understanding of retail math Balanced passion for quantitative and qualitative aspects of commercial marketing Ability to juggle current and future projects Knack for systems Able to work simultaneously with several different cross-functional partners Highly-organized Comfortable in fast-paced setting and with frequent changes Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills |
