Job Description: 

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Business Process Analyst to support the Declassification Center of a US Government Agency. The Business Process Analyst will work directly with DC managers to help implement, track and report on operations of the DC to declassify and process more than 10 million pages of classified federal records each year. Doing so will require working with advanced tracking databases to support workload scheduling, resource prioritization, data validation, configuration management support, and process improvements.


The Business Process Analyst needs to be independent and proactive and needs to blend expertise in database use with understanding of declassification processing. The ideal Business Process Analyst is a blend of database developer, accountant, and storyteller that can extract, manipulate and communicate useful information from mountains of raw data. This position will be located in Herndon, Va. Travel, if any, will be very limited.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

An active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.


Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or another relavent field of study and a minimum of 6 years of related experience in production metrics, production control, process improvement and/or configuration management


Fluency in MS Office applications, including MS Access


Familiarity in SQL Server or Oracle database development


Knowledge of declassification processes


Preferred Qualifications:


Excellent problem solving ability


Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
