Job Description: 

Responsible for the activities for the planning through execution of the sector's capital plan. This is achieved through coordination / communications with corporate office, division and homeroom personnel. Accountable for reporting capitalization, budgets, forecasting, and for process compliance.

Directly responsible for professional group of property administrators and indirectly for off site property administrators across the sector assigned to capital management functions.

Administers property control program activities to ensure continual accountability of company property in accordance with applicable government regulations or corporate policy. Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment. Conducts property inventories; develops, recommends, and implements property administration policy; and prepares periodic and special purpose reports relative to such matters as leasing, insurance, state & local investments, etc.

Will consider occasional/part-time teleworking for this positon.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Requires Bachelors Degree. 6 years of related experience to include operational experience (capacity planning, load analysis, strategic planning and/or resource management). Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Must have general awareness of accounting practices with respect to property and fixed assets. Requires demonstrated leadership qualities (to include excellent communication and collaboration skills) essential for successful interface with engineers, managers and executive levels across locations, divisions and homerooms. Interim Confidential Clearance required to start. Candidates who meet the basic qualifications of the position will be invited to complete a mandatory Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems Leadership Assessment developed by Gallup, a worldwide leader in strengths based selection. This assessment will help us learn more about you and the talents you might bring to a leadership position within the organization. The assessment is one component of the selection decision.
Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Macros, data warehouse and SAP is desirable. Demonstrated managerial experience.
