As part of the Cybersecurity and Enterprise Solutions Operating Unit within the Defense Technologies Division, Defense Enterprise Solutions Business Unit, this position will be supporting a large Department of Defense program. The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert for the various functions within Data Center Operations and also acts as a key support function for the various groups within Data Center Operations. Provide daily operational coordination and technical guidance. Reviews and analyzes functional gaps and provides process and procedure or tool enhancements through continuous improvement and thought leadership. The candidate will also: •Provides daily operational coordination and technical guidance to the Data Center Operations groups. •Serves as sponsor for new solutions and technology that can be utilized to improve the operational environment. •Assists with the implementation of new projects in support of operational sustainment. •Ensures team personnel participate and support command objectives, solicits feedback and provides time bound solutions. •Takes a proactive approach to ensure proper engagement procedures are followed within Data Center Operations to address technical project challenges prior to impacting project timelines, SLAs, or customer satisfaction. •Attends teleconferences or technical meetings to review, educate and support project objectives and communicates project status changes and updates to MCNOSC and Team Leads in a timely manner. .. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of experience in information technology, information assurance or security or related field. May substitute 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
