Job Description: 

As part of the Cybersecurity and Enterprise Solutions Operating Unit within the Defense Technologies Division, Defense Enterprise Solutions Business Unit, this position will be supporting a large Department of Defense program. The candidate will be r esponsible for End User Services (EUS) (also known as the eUSMC portal or Enterprise Portal Framework (EPF)). They will also be r esponsible for overseeing the technical support teams that execute Release/Configuration/Change Management Process in support of the unclassified and classified Marine Corps Enterprise IT Services (MCEITS) Operations Capability (MOC) and Enterprise IT Center (EITC), including the processes and functions necessary to ensure successful management, oversight, operations and maintenance of the capability on the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN). Ensures teams adhere to current policies and procedures and provides guidance in the resolution of complex technical problems. Maintains a close, collaborative relationship among Engineering and Operations and manages all efforts to quickly bring into production much needed operational tools and certified solutions.

The EPF will include portal enhancements, asynchronous collaboration, workflow, text-based chat client capabilities, integration with the MCEITS Identity and Access Management (IdAM) solution, content migration, backup and recovery functionality, documentation, and IA certification and accreditation services. The result of these efforts are a continuing functional portal within the MCEITS EPF with both working technologies and a platform to expand upon the customization, integration, and incorporation of additional services, technologies, and content. The candidate will also:

•Provides overarching management of all infrastructures in the enterprise.
•Designs and develops system/product solutions and/or engineering processes for enhancement and sustainment of the MCEITS enterprise.
•Leads others in the definition of project scope, plans and deliverables including cost projections and proposed implementation dates.
•Monitors market trends and standard setting organizations to define technical standards.
•Mentors others on the application of new technologies, tools, processes, standards and project management/system development methodologies.
•Researches, evaluates and stays current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies and proposes new technical solutions.

Plans, directs and coordinates activities of leaders and teams responsible for conceptualizing, testing, monitoring, implementing and managing technical information technology solutions.
•Evaluates and creates productivity enhancements to increase quality and cost of service management and drives continuous improvement.
•Reviews industry standard best practices, products and tools, and assesses operability of solutions within the MCEITS enterprise.
•Meets with vendors to develop new solutions to increase DB and applications performance and support.
•Ensures teams participate in and support enterprise objectives, solicits feedback and provides time bound solutions.
•Attends teleconferences or technical meetings to review, educate and support project objectives and communicates project status and updates to MCNOSC and Team Leads.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in information technology, information assurance or security or related field. May substitute 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance IAT level I required – Sec , Network , SSCP
