Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Computer Operation Analyst 2 to join our team of qualified,

This is a contract to provide USPS Information Technology with professional, technical and support services to support the application development, database production support, help desk administration, LAN administration and various requirements for distributed technical support throughout the USPS enterprise.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day to day system administration and monitoring for UNIX/Linux (HPUX, AIX, Solaris, RedHat Linux and Suse Linux) environment. Duties include monitoring and support for Microsoft Windows server and tools, troubleshooting and familiarity with Middleware components (Tuxedo, Weblogic, Runway, CTC, DB, responding to alerts from automation and escalation from Level1 Service Desk and incident, change and problem management activities. .
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• BA and 5 years of experience or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years of experience UNIX/LINUX and basic trouble shooting skills
• Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust designation
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 years of hands on experience UNIX/LINUX
• 3-5 years of systems administration experience in a UNIX / LINUX distributed server environment. (HP-UX, AIX, SOLARIS, Suse LINUX, Red Hat LINUX);
• 3-5 years of systems administration experience in a Windows server environment.
• 1-2 years of experience in an operational support team. Knowledge of ITIL Service Management best practices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
