At AT&T, our Chief Technology Office (CTO) is the embodiment of innovation. We're responsible for developing, designing, planning and building AT&T's wireless and wired networks - including the nation's fastest 3G wireless network, our groundbreaking U-verse network and one of the world's largest and most advanced IP backbone. Lead a team of Ran Optimization engineers responsible for the end to end performance of a geographical area in Northern CA Market. Manage the Optimization engineers responsible for monitoring the capacity growth, monitoring and optimizing a wireless network. Analyze ran performance data to recommend the optimal changes to the Ran network to improve all key indexes and performance indicators. Manage the technical professionals as they perform trials and develop new concepts, methods and techniques for network improvement. Manage a team of engineers as they identify and troubleshoot network performance issues. Responsible for troubleshooting the network, identifying opportunities for coverage improvements, network expansion opportunities, managing to performance metrics and developing action plans to address performance issues. Identify root causes, trends, and offenders with the goal of developing an understanding what it takes to close the gap towards established goals and objectives. Identify and jointly implement network processes and technical improvement plans designed to increase customer satisfaction. Responsible for field investigation of customer, business, and executive escalations and the development of a resolution plan. Interface with many internal groups to accomplish goals. Requires strong knowledge of specialty area or broad knowledge of the organization and operation. Works closely with managers and project team members to assess/meet department goals. Plans and organizes work projects, budgets and resources. Assists directors and executive management with implementation, development of strategies, guidelines. Remains current with industry trends / technologies. Monitors and is responsible for budgets for area of responsibility. Ensures compliance with government regulations and system specifications.
