We are a leading global aviation supplier designing, manufacturing, and distributing advanced electronic systems, products, and services to commercial, defense and space industries. This position will be located at our Honeywell Albuquerque, NM location. This role will perform the demand management for the General Aviation business, both OEM and Aftermarket. This person in this position performs the overall demand forecasting, reconciliation of financial and demand forecasts, and supports processes associated with the Sales, Inventory and Operation Planning (S&OP) process. This position will have the following primary responsibilities: • Provide the demand forecast to the integrated supply chain for the General Aviation business to ensure achievement of financial and delivery objectives. • Implement the use of automated tools to plan the demand, thus improving forecast accuracy and reducing volatility. • Use Honeywell Operating System principles to define standard work and visual controls for the work done by this analyst. • Refine and maintain operational metrics and demand forecasts required for STRAP, AOP, financial forecasts and demand reviews. • Report key metrics such as forecast accuracy, demand volatility, SPIR trends, and plan of record using LIGHTS ON data in conjunction with improved forecasting tools. • Deploy a robust process to capture data from market intelligence, program managers, and leading indicators and consequently identify and analyze trends, aggregate into a single set of requirements, and measure accuracy of the forecasting process. • Work with Business finance teams to investigate site level variance in financial plans • Manage SIOP ad-hoc reporting requirements, including detailed analysis and forecast updates. • Implement and manage streamlined processes and systems to support SIOP. Will be involved in assessment of improved tools for forecasting and will implement the results of those assessments. • Lead detailed projects to implement accurate reporting and conduct business analysis for the General Aviation business. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field • 3 years of experience and ability to structure meaningful analysis: define critical data needs, interpret results, draw implications and communicate recommendations • 3 years experience with all Microsoft Office products, including advanced skills in Excel • Six Sigma Greenbelt trained/certified Additional Qualifications: • Project management skills • Ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization • Working knowledge of Access preferred • Proficiency in Sales, Inventory and Operations planning preferred • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) required • Financial and business acumen • Familiarity with Honeywell Aerospace products and services • Working knowledge of Essbase, SAP and AS400 • An understanding of SBU/CBT/Functional structure of Aerospace • Experience with data extraction and construction of math models for more complex analysis • Able to utilize project management tools & concepts to plan and execute projects to deliver on-time results As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Honeywell is committed to a diverse workforce.
