AT&T Senior ICB Pricing/Costing Manager is responsible for developing the business cases and pricing in support of complex customer contracts.


Roles and responsibilities of the Senior ICB Pricing/Costing Manager include, but are not limited to the following:



  • Negotiation of favorable prices, terms and conditions of major custom pricing contracts to develop creative solutions while ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations

  • Partner with team in the pre-sales negotiations ensuring the negotiation of favorable prices, terms and conditions of major contracts while ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations

  • Develops major proposals including managing the agreement and inputs of all involved parties.

  • Works closely with the sales group to determine the service scope, service objective, sales messages and solution that makes up the proposed solution and attempts to maximize the possible financial outcome of company

  • Constructs value proposition, business case, negotiation, pricing, and terms and conditions.

  • Project manages the sales process, working with all the key players, to deliver a proposal to the client that will secure the contract.

  • Works on long life cycle deal development

  • Develops overall commercial, technical, and financial framework for the arrangement, which may include a highly creative pricing model with moderately complex risk/reward sharing schemes

  • Communicates and resolves problems with internal support groups such as sales teams, proposal team, product development team, and finance/costing team

  • Provides the more complex cost analyses and audits associated with the cost function

Required Skills and Experience


  • 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience
  • Must have proven experience with pre-sales negotiations
  • Must have experience with complex pricing and cost analyses
  • Must have experience with sales proposal development
  • Must have proven success working with cross functional teams
  • Experience with pre-sales negotiations involving complex pricing arrangements
  • Experience with complex contracts with proven knowledge of legal & regulatory requirements
  • Excel and data modeling experience
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis and computer modeling techniques
  • Team oriented - ability to work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Needs a strong knowledge of financial analysis and computer modeling techniques
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to perform in a quickly changing, time-sensitive environment with great attention to detail
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills needed

Desired Skills, Experience and Education

· 5 or more years in a similar role supporting same industry

· Bachelors Degree in a Financial Discipline; Finance, Accounting, etc.
