Engineer Sr Software Tools

This is an exciting time to join Honeywell's Electronic Center of Excellence group. This is a great position to showcase your Software Engineering experience.





Honeywell Aerospace is a $10B SBG
(Strategic Business Group) with 40,000 employees in over 125 domestic and
international locations. We are a leading global aviation supplier designing,
manufacturing, and distributing advanced electronic systems, products, and
services to commercial, defense and space industries.


The Engineering Tools Software Engineer will be responsible to create, maintain, lean, and/or deploy a variety of software tools and processes within the Flight Controls organization. The Tools group develops and maintains desktp GUI and web-based tools to improve productivity and reduce cycle time across all functional groups and global locations within the CoE.Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 5 years Software Engineering experience
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident due to export restrictions

Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with MS Office and VBA, Visual Basic, C/C /C#, .NET, ASP, Java, SQL database design and programming, web applications
  • Exposure to DO-178B
  • Structured/formal development and support of Windows applications; installers; integrating dissimilar applications at the API, GUI or database level; use Configuration Management, Requirements Management and Traceability Tools
