The supervisor will be responsible for plant-wide operations including supervising employees in the Crystal Growth, Fabrication, and Thin Film Coating departments during the weekend. (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 12-hour days, 36 hours). This will include production scheduling, quality assurance, executing continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

In addition, the right candidate will demonstrate the required leadership behaviors to motivate and engage employees and build trust and confidence amongst the manage-ment team and peers. The successful candidate will partner with other area supervisors and managers and other operations resources to address and solve critical operational and employee performance issues in a timely manner.

Basic Qualifications:

· AS Degree in technical or business discipline

· 10 years experience in manufacturing

· Strong people and exceptional organizational skills

· Strong computer skills utilizing MS products

· Proficiency in understanding Engineering drawings

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS Degree in an Engineering discipline
• 3-5 years experience in manufacturing supervision
• Experience utilizing statistical analysis software (such as Minitab)
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing concepts
