AT&T AdWorks is rapidly growing in expectation of becoming AT&T's next billion dollar business. We are looking for industry veterans who revel in the prospect of building a better approach to advertising sales that utilizes the inherent strengths of the world's largest telecommunications company. AdWorks is the face to the market for AT&T's newest ad products across IPTV, Mobile, and Internet.
Within the AdWorks senior leadership team, we are seeking to fill a high profile and critical position. The Director - Ad Operations Online/Mobile will lead a team of ad operations professionals for our mobile and online product suites. This team handles everything from pre-sales media planning to post sales optimization and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Associate Directors managing all online and mobile display ad operations including; pricing, yield management, contract and order management, ad campaign implementation, optimization, inventory issue resolution, and campaign reporting.
- Partner with sales to maintain personal strategic account relationships with the company's Fortune 500 and Ad Age 100 ad buying clients and coinciding agencies.
- Establish best practices and procedures for maintaining high industry standards of fulfillment, product quality, reliability, and accuracy.
- Oversee sales planning and operations technology road map as new products and platforms are deployed.
- Implement an outsourced ad operations partnership to drive efficiency and margins within the business.
- Consult on system enhancements as we move towards a proprietary self-service platform
- Pioneer 100% compliance with industry and corporate privacy policies
- Meet advertiser objectives by ensuring the team is using best placements, flight plans, campaign optimizations and using adequate third-party serving platforms
- Provide regular reporting to AVP - Ad Operations and senior management, advertisers, account managers and other internal customers
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in ad operations
- 3-5 years experience at a buy side ad network or DSP
- Outstanding knowledge of trafficking campaigns in display, video and other formats on platforms such as Doubleclick's DART, Atlas and OAS
- Experience in dealing with rich media and video focused campaign strategies
- Solid understanding of Mobile ad trafficking
- Analytical mindset and strong financial understanding
- Experience working at a larger publisher or ad network
- Customer-first mentality and ability to serve advertisers with differing goals
- Team player who isn't afraid to roll up his sleeves and be both player and coach
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that is developing and growing quickly
- Interactive agency or client side relationships strongly preferred
- Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing and persuasively present to a wide variety of audiences.
- Strong organization and project management skills.
