Working as a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating regional customer demand, regional go-to-market marketing and communication strategies focusing on AT&T new and emerging technologies, products and applications. You will develop regional programs to increase attachment rate of voice/data products and services, including communication and training, tracking, incentives, and troubleshooting. Additional Responsibilities:
- Support the full portfolio of wireless features and services across post-paid and pre-paid platforms
- Manage regional product information for wireless features and services including pricing and offers as well as creation of regional incentives and promotions to drive sales attach rates.
- Serve as the primary field liaison to HQ Product Management for all elements of the product lifecycle. Includes ideation, development decisions, business case input, testing and analysis, market launch decisions and on-going region support for product marketing across the NCR (North Central Region) markets.
- Act as regional contact for device technical knowledge. Thoroughly learn and test new wireless products and provide feedback to better understand new product offerings.
- Coordinate training efforts to ensure sales teams are fully knowledgeable and able to sell AT&T's wide array of technology products and services
- Ensure sales channel and operations coordination of training and incentive programs and that all channels are considered appropriately for each promotional program
- Track and be familiar with competitors' offerings and marketing strategies, including pricing, distribution mix, sales challenges; unique market advantages, weaknesses, requirements and characteristics
- Work with regional sales and operations teams to understand emerging customer needs and to develop requests for new products or product enhancements including feature adjustments, major account solutions, pricing changes, etc.
- Communicate effectively and profusely both vertically and horizontally to ensure timely alignment
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on all post-paid and pre-paid features and services
- Partner with Customer Care and market leaders to resolve customer escalations
Required Qualifications:
- Five or more years in product life cycle management, or related experience
- Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills
- Proven ability to translate ideas and vision into product definition and requirements
- Proven ability to launch and support ideas and vision
- Proven ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven ability to successfully partner with other organizations including technology, go-to-market, and other HQ and Regional teams
- Strong written, verbal and oral presentation skills
- Strong strategic thinking skills
- Proven ability to interface with all levels of management
- Working knowledge of assigned product(s), company functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other standard office computer applications
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field of study
- Experience in wireless services, data, and / or high tech industry
- Ability to anticipate risks and devise contingencies to manage them
