Troubleshoot, repair, and refurbish CNC and Manual production machine tools as needed to meet customer delivery commitments. Applicant must be able to solve complex problems and implement fixes per proficiency in mechanical skill sets, electrical, and electronic disciplines. Tech must be able use laptop computers, diagnostic /test equipment, hand tools, motorized lifts, and fork trucks with proficiency. Proficiency in machine alignments, ball screw replacement, machine control replacements, machine control trouble shooting and repair is required. An understanding of electro- mechanical drive systems, substitution and replacement of drive systems as required, communications and schematics trouble-shooting, repair, and replacement as required. Proficiency is also required in ability to understand and complete tasks in areas such as, but not limited to, robotics, PLC and ladder logic applications, AC/DC drives, sensors and controllers.Electronic control equipment trouble shoot and repair-----------------7 years experience required Mechanical machine tool systems troubleshoot and repair-----------7 years experience required CNC control troubleshoot and repair skills proficiency----------------10 years experience required Experience using Computerized Maintenance Mgmt. software------5 years experience required Ability to write and create Preventative Maintenance Procedures---5 years experience required Preferred: Associates degree in Machine Tool/Electronics Technology or equivalent Minimum: 15 years demonstrated experience in Electro-Mechanical disciplines without A.S degree |
