Exciting opportunity exist for an HF Truck Driver for our Geismar, Honeywell Performance Materials & Technologies is a global leader in providing customers with high-performance specialty materials, including fluorine products; specialty films and additives; advanced fibers and composites; intermediates; specialty chemicals; electronic materials and chemicals; and technologies and materials for petroleum refining. HF Truck Drives are charged with the following responsibilities:
Basic Qualifications: · Must have a CDL with X endorsement or Tanker and Hazmat endorsements · 5 years verifiable driving experience of a tractor trailer (semi) SOP-Tran-012 · Min 6 months tanker experience · Additional Qualifications: · No license suspensions, revocations, DUI, or drug violations or reckless operation violations · No more than one chargeable/preventable accident in the last 5 years · No more than 3 moving violations in the last 5 years · No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 5 years · Ability to communicate effectively with all those involved in the delivery process including plant personnel and customers · Must be able to lift 100 lbs and hold for 5 minutes · Must be able to operate a tractor trailer in all 48 states and · Must be able to use had tools adjustable wrenches, socket wrenches, pipe wrenches and hammers · Must be able to drive in a team setting · Must be able to stay out from 2 to 7 days · Must be able to wear a full encapsulated safety suit with positive breathing air · Must be able to climb ladder 13 feet high · Must be able to read and discern off loading procedures · Must be have math skills to calculate tank unloading pressures · High School diploma or equivalent required As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Honeywell is committed to a diverse workforce. |
