Production Operator Honeywell Transportation Systems is comprised of two strategic Business Units: Honeywell Turbo Technologies and Friction Materials. Honeywell Friction Materials manufactures and markets Friction products for PV, CV Rail/Industrial applications and serves as one of the world's largest suppliers of friction materials and aftermarket brake products. Our brands include Jurid and Bendix. We are seeking seven hourly Production workers. Candidates must be available to work any shift. Responsibilities include: · Operate various manufacturing equipment including but not limited to presses, sintering furnaces, grinders and various measuring equipment. · Perform quality control checks using micrometers, calipers, scales and inputting data into computer spreadsheets and programs. · Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and blueprints · Visually inspect parts for defects. · Record required data and complete required production reports · Responsible for following good safety and housekeeping practices in assigned work areas and throughout the plant · Ability and willingness to work any and all shifts as required. · Other duties as directed by Supervision.
