Working as a Search Engine Marketing Manager-Outside Sales, you will be considered the Subject Matter Expert for search engine marketing (SEM) and all offerings of YP.COM. You will manage to the assigned sales objectives and goals of the sales agents and local sales offices.


Additional Responsibilities:


  • Show effective management of territory and client-base to meet and exceed individual and division/branch revenue objectives.

  • Work closely with the sales office management team to promote, integrate and meet and exceed objectives.

  • Work with local sales representatives to assist in the sale of SEM and YP.COM products through field coaching, training and collateral.

  • Deliver sales presentations to local business customers through joint and/or team selling with the local sales representative, as well as through solo selling.

  • Effectively meet the needs of the sales agent by integrating daily practices with best practices.

  • Coordinate and act as a liaison with customer service/helpdesk representatives and the sales force.

  • Obtain leads for upsell opportunities from sales agent, cold-calls and networking follow-up and secure appointments.

  • Attend sales office regional meetings to keep apprised of business, product, and selling and strategy developments.

  • Work with local and regional providers of content for cross-promotional, reciprocal linking and business development initiatives.






Required Qualifications


  • 6 months or more Search Engine Marketing sales experience



Desired Qualifications


  • 6 months or more years business-to-business sales experience, in a commission environment

  • 1 or more years sales training experience

  • 2 or more years media sales experience; preferably in advertising sales, with proven sales results

  • 1 or more years Web development skills

  • Currently Google AdWords certified

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
