Honeywell UOP is currently interviewing for a Senior Product Line Specialist within the Refining & Petrochemical Group of UOP's CA&S (Catalysts, Adsorbents & Specialties) business unit located in Des Plaines, IL. This is a unique and visible opportunity to support the strategic growth of UOP's Hydroprocessing product portfolio and explore the commercial angle of a technology based business without compromising technical career development. You will be involved with a variety of business growth activities including strategic planning, price and cost management, product quality and specifications, business support for new product commercialization, global supply chain, market and competitor analysis. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Business is required Minimum of 5 years experience in the refining or chemical industry is required Additional Qualifications: Hands-on experience in a product line management, product technology, new product development or customer technical support role Prior experience with SAP is a plus Ability to think strategically and to scope tasks and set goals Ability to thrive in fast-paced, results-driven organization Strong verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships Ability to travel 10% annually to domestic and international sites Strong analytical skills |
