This is a solid opportunity for a senior level engineer with a solid background in Project Management and Mechanical engineering in Aerospace Engineering to join Honeywell's Aerospace team supporting our Mechanical Center of Excellence team in South Bend, Indiana

Honeywell Aerospace is a leading global provider of integrated avionics, engines, systems and service solutions for aircraft manufacturers, airlines, business and general aviation, military, space and airport operations.

Responsible for brake system development, supplier coordination, design oversight, qualification testing, and customer coordination.

Primary products are various brake systems developed for both military and commercial applications.

Scope of accountability shall include:

Plans work packages and develops cost, schedule, and milestones for various product development activities.

• Achieve schedule and cost objectives.
  
• Interface with technical leadership, customer and program management interface.
  
• Leads other disciplines, interfaces with internal leaders, chief engineers and other resident experts to accomplish program objectives.
  
• Ensures that all aspects of Statement-of-Work and Technical Specifications are met.
  
• Effectively plan work packages, develop cost, schedule and milestones for Wheel and Brake Development programs.
  
• Demonstrate competency in program planning and control.
  
• Successfully manage medium complexity Wheel and Brake development activities.

Manages technical and programmatic risk through identification and mitigation planning.
