The F-35 automation group is looking for a highly motivated individual with machine shop background to join our team. Responsibilities include operation and maintenance of automated machines, tools, vehicles, systems, and equipment within a high production environment. Team member will be responsible for machine set-up (cutter/holders); optimization, periodic maintenance as well as Root Cause/ Corrective Action activity related to the equipment. Highly complex task of both machining and moving of major aircraft structures is the key element and responsibilities of this position. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of 6.5 years related experience, to include machinist or automation related background.
Preferred Qualifications: CNC machinist background with experience running multi-axis machines. Experience in a Jig and Fixture build shop. Experience with ground floor introduction of automation into a production environment.
